TradeXBank AG appoints Viviane Gabard as new Chief Risk Officer
TradeXBank AG today announced the appointment of Viviane Gabard as Chief Risk Officer following Hendrik Weber-Grellet’s decision to leave the bank. Viviane Gabard is due to become a member of the Executive Board upon the conclusion of the necessary regulatory approval.
Viviane Gabard brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in the international banking environment and in-depth knowledge on the Commodity and Trade Finance business. She was a longstanding member of the Executive Committee of CA Indosuez (Switzerland) SA in Geneva, first as Chief Risk Officer and then as Head of Compliance. Most recently she was a Senior Manager within a mission of the Banking Supervision team of the European Central Bank related to energy and commodity traders.
Camille Sednaoui, TradeXBank AG's CEO, says: “I’m delighted to announce Viviane’s appointment as our new Chief Risk Officer. As we embark on the bank’s next phase of growth, expanding into new regions and new commodities, effective risk management assumes vital importance. Viviane will further build on our already strong risk and credit management, ensuring sound assessment of our portfolio while enabling agile decision-making within the organization. I’m confident that thanks to her strong track-record, Viviane brings great value to our diverse leadership team and will help to further strengthen the foundation of our business. At the same time, I’d like to thank Hendrik Weber-Grellet for his exemplary commitment to TradeXBank during his six years of service, especially during challenging times for the bank. I extend my best wishes to him for the future. Hendrik Weber-Grellet will ensure a smooth hand-over and support Viviane Gabard during the transition before leaving the bank."
